Prithvi Shaw scored Century on Debut
Prithvi Shaw became the youngest Indian player to make a century on his Test debut on day one of the first Test between India and West Indies in Rajkot. India found new superstar, 18 year old Prithvi Shaw scoring a century on Test debut.
Shaw has become the second youngest Indian player scored a century in Test. Great Sachin Tendulkar is the youngest player holds the record of youngest player who scored century in a test innings. However, what make the Prithvi innings shiner is that he scored his century in the very first innings. Sachin Tendulkar scored his first century at the age of 17 years and 112 days. Prithvi Shaw reached it at the age of 18 years 329 days old.

The most talented young Prithvi Shaw reached his first century by only facing 99 balls. He scored 134 runs before he gets out.
This is the third fastest debut century. Shaw also the 15th indian and 106th player who scored century on debut. Rohit Sharma is the previous man who scored century on debut in 2013.
He also become the youngest indian player scored 50 in debut match. He reached 50 in 56 balls. Prithvi is the third youngest to score a Test fifty for India behind Sachin Tendulkar and Parthiv Patel and ahead Ravi Shastri and Dinesh Karthik.
